Her husband passed away leaving her with 3 daughters to take care of and 8 months of rental debt
Kamila* is a widowed Moroccan woman who has been in Malaysia since 2003.
Her husband passed away leaving her with 3 daughters to take care of and 8 months of rental debt.
In addition to her challenge with her housing, Kamila is dealing with the sickness of Cancer. Since she started receiving cancer treatment, she has had no strength for any kind of work.
Kamila holds a master’s in architecture, and her three daughters aged 13,14 and 15 years old, are all enrolled in school.
Kamila and her three daughters live in a rental home with rental fees of RM 2,000/Month.
With this situation, the poor mother hasn’t been able to pay the rent for 8 months!
The landlord has been very patient knowing the difficult situation the young girls were in.
But patience has limits and Kamila and her children have nowhere else to go. If she leaves the house now, she will be homeless, and she also cannot move to a cheaper rental house because of the distance from her daughters’ school.
Kamila and her children are seeking your help to pay their outstanding rental fees for the last 4 months. Afterwards Kamila expects to be able to start a small business to support herself and her children.
